It all starts with buying a Swift Sport M16A VVT.
Compression ratio is a little high so it gets 9.0:1 Wiseco Pistons.
The con-rods are a little weak so it got K1 H beam rods installed.
A 0.5mm rebore brings the capacity to exactly 1600CC and leaves room for future reboring.
All the nuts and bolts on the cylinder head and crank were changed to ARP high strength ones.
A new trigger wheel was laser cut and installed for the Megasquirt MS3 to use the original crank sensor
and the cam had the trigger modified to leave a single trigger for sequential ignition and EFI.
Some pictures taken while figuring things out on the supercharger side.
Flange for the Turbo manifold.
The mount figured and fitted on the engine. Programmed in Mastercam Insulating spacer for the Jenvey inlet manifold. Newer cam cover means COPs and no coil cover.
Made one and painted it wrinkle finish black.
Onto the Turbo Side.
Making a start on the manifold. Probably going to plumb the external wastegate into the exhaust.....for peace!
